Young entrepreneurs, here’s your chance to make it big – the 13th JCI Creative Young Entrepreneur Award (JCI CYEA 2019) is now open for nominations!
Themed ‘Creativity that Excites’, this prestigious annual award by Junior Chamber International (JCI) aims to recognise and honour exceptional young and creative entrepreneurs, with a higher goal of fostering an entrepreneurial spirit amongst youths, as well as promote creativity and innovation.
JCI CYEA 2019 launching ceremony & press conference was held at the Selangor Digital Creative Centre (SDCC) in i-City, Shah Alam, on 30 January 2019, and was officiated by YB Dato’ Teng Chang Khim, Selangor State Exco and Ahli DUN Bandar Baru Klang.
About the Awards
The JCI CYEA offers young entrepreneurs a gateway to international markets, where winners will have the chance to mingle with and exchange ideas with fellow international entrepreneurs, companies and governments to further explore business opportunities across industries and countries.
“This award is not only a platform for young entrepreneurs to grow and elevate their business. It also benefits the organization and increases the standard and reputation of their respective industries and the nation as well”, said Organizing Chairman of 2019 JCI CYEA, Luis Tew Boon Jun.
Eligibility
The JCI CYEA is open to all Malaysian entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40 who have creatively transformed an existing process, a new startup, or any other way of doing things in an innovative manner that has brought a significant change to a business.
Nominations begin 30 January 2019 and closes 30 June 2019.
The Top 3 winners will be announced on 8 September at the 2019 JCI CYEA Grand Award Ceremony Night.
