ECX24 offers an intensive 4-month program to uplift 50 Malaysian SME brands through seasoned mentors and dynamic workshops.
Aimed at empowering Malaysian entrepreneurs, ECX24 prepares them for investment and expansion via immersive workshops and pitching clinics. The program emphasizes digital transformation, equipping participants to modernize their businesses for the digital age.

What is the Selangor E-Commerce Xccelerator?
The Selangor E-Commerce Xccelerator (ECX) is an intensive 4-month program designed to benefit 50 Malaysian SME brands that offers excellent guidance from experienced mentors and comprehensive workshops. The ECX24 is to empower Malaysian entrepreneurs by preparing them for investment and expansion ready through a series of intensive workshops and pitching clinics.
The ECX also acts as a gateway for SME to prepare themselves for the final demo day. During the final demo day, the Top 5 will stand a chance to win from a cash prize pool of RM25,000.
When do applications begin?
Submissions can be sent anytime from the 2nd of July to the 30th of August. As long as you have met all the requirements, why not apply? Aspiring applicants have until 6.00 pm of the 30th of August to register!
How do we join the ECX?
Participants can fill in the application form that is provided in this landing page. Please take note that this programme requires the shortlisted company a financial commitment of RM3000. However, there is no payment during the application period. Participants must be able to commit throughout the 3 months program.
Apart from that, shortlisted companies must open an Affin Business account to participate.
As part of the application process, applicants must also send:
1. A copy of their latest company profile (maximum of 20 pages)
2. 60 seconds video on why you want to be part of ECX24.
Are there any fees?
There is no payment for registration to join ECX24.
However, selected companies that are qualified to participate in the Final Demo Day during the Selangor Smart City and Digital Economy Convention (SDEC) 2024 are required to pay RM3,000 as a financial commitment, and top winners stand a chance to participate in the international outreach expedition.
Overall, the benefits and perks given as part of the programme are worth more than RM3,000 (mentorship, pitching clinics, one-to-one office hour consultation, workshops) – and they are all for you!
