On the 21st of December, the Selangor Information Technology and E-Commerce Council (SITEC) hosted the recently-established Ministry of International Trade and E-Commerce of Sarawak (MITECS) for a visit to the Selangor Digital Creative Centre (SDCC) with the intent of establishing a line of communication with SITEC, whom they consider a well-established counterpart, while learning what they can about the local e-Commerce landscape.
A delegation of 28 people were welcomed by SITEC’s Chief Executive Yong Kai Ping, who introduced SITEC to the delegation, explaining the aims and goals of the organisation, as well as the programs and activities that have been organised by SITEC.
The delegation was then led on a tour of the SDCC, where they were shown the facilities and co-working space available to startups and coworkers here, while also being shown the offices of several co-workers as well as marketplace platform Youbeli.
