We are pleased to announce our new partnership with local mobile marketplace Shopee for our Online 100 programme. With this new partnership, we will be offering brick and mortar merchants that are with the Online 100 programme, the opportunity to get onboard another local marketplace with a mobile-first feature. This is in addition to the other 3 online marketplaces merchants can utilise under the programme, namely, Youbeli, Lazada and 11street.
We are also pleased to share that, as of December 2017, SITEC has:
- On-boarded 300 Selangor-based brick and mortar merchants to sell online via Online 100
- Produced 300 mobile apps for these Online 100 merchants
- Reached out to over 80,000 people in related areas locally and overseas
- Ran 58 e-commerce and startup educational classes
- Facilitated our Online 100 merchants in generating RM 7,300,000 in Gross Merchandise Value

About Online 100
The Online 100 programme is one of the four main thrusts under the Selangor Information Technology & E-Commerce Council (SITEC), and is specially designed to help Selangor brick and mortar SMEs to move their businesses online to a variety of marketplaces through our exclusive partnerships with the above marketplaces.
As we understand the various barriers faced by smaller retail companies, SITEC aims to make the onboarding process smoother and more manageable for retail merchants to build their brand online through educational classes and workshops, guiding them through topics such as product and inventory management, digital marketing, mobile commerce, and many more.
The Online 100 programme is specially sponsored by the Selangor State Government, and is brought to you by SITEC. It is free for all Selangor-based SMEs, and registration is limited to 100 companies per year.
