27 May 2023, Kuala Lumpur – Witnessing an unprecedented surge of success, the Malaysia Top E-Commerce Merchant (Top ECM) Awards has achieved phenomenal sales of RM 77,568,794.21 million. With an impressive cash prize of RM10,000, a gleaming trophy, and a prestigious certificate, Etransact Technology Sdn Bhd has emerged as the undisputed victor in this highly sought-after competition.
Returning for its eighth edition, the Malaysia Top ECM Awards has shattered expectations with a total of 602 applications, showcasing a remarkable 36.8% increase from the previous year. Out of the pool, 360 companies were shortlisted to embark on their journey in this year’s Top ECM event, which features three award categories namely Top E-Commerce Merchant Awards, Selangor E-Commerce Merchant Awards and AFFIN BANK Special Awards (Rising Star and AFFINGEM Women Trailblazer Awards).
Throughout the event, Top ECM participants were assessed based on three criteria, namely Online Sales Contest (50%), Livestream Contest (25%), and Business Potential (25%) by a panel of judges comprised of credible individuals in the e-commerce industry. Some of the participating e-merchants also had an opportunity to promote their products and services during the Livestream festival operated by Lazada held at the Festival Usahawan Gempak from (dates).
Caring Pharmacy Retail Management Sdn Bhd and JSK Global Sdn Bhd clinched the second and third spots, receiving RM8,000 and RM5,000 in cash respectively, as well as trophies and certificates. The prestigious awards ceremony also revealed the extraordinary achievers who made their mark in the e-commerce landscape. With a well-deserved burst of applause and excitement, Oasis Swiss Sdn Bhd, Duchess Mercantiles Sdn Bhd, Hyperack Sdn Bhd, Global Synergy Concepts Sdn Bhd, Bayu Somerset Sdn Bhd, Setel Express Sdn Bhd, and Ana-Tomy Sdn Bhd emerged as the esteemed fourth to tenth place winners.
Brimming with success, these exceptional finalists not only secured coveted trophies and certificates but also took home an impressive RM2,000 in cash each. The remarkable achievements of these dynamic enterprises have solidified their positions as trailblazers in the e-commerce realm, leaving a resounding impact on the industry and inspiring others to strive for greatness.
